We are not qualified legal experts or tax specialists but we are able to recommend English speaking experts in these fields who can answer any questions you may have.

Once a purchase is completed our involvement doesn´t stop there. All of us at Competa Properties are on hand to advise and help in any way that we can regarding your new property and/or your new life here in Spain.
Our sister company “Cele Fernandez Construction and Services” is here to help you with any building or renovation requirements you may have. Having had many years of experience in the construction industry they will work with you to enhance your property in whatever way you wish and you will be able to relax knowing that not only will the construction be to a high standard but that all necessary paperwork will be taken care of.
“Cele Fernández Construction and Services” carries out a whole range of building and maintenance work ( total new builds, extensions, renovations, pool construction ), property maintenance (including buildings and gardens) and painting.

If, at present, you are not able to spend all your time in sunny Spain and wish your house to provide you with rental income we at “Competa Properties”are happy to add your property to our rental portfolio. We will take care of all aspects of the rental.

Our office staff

Mari Carmen: Mari Carmen, who comes from Cómpeta is our very capable administrator who, among the many other things she takes care of, ensures that the paperwork relating to our properties is in order so that our clients have a stress free purchase. She also looks after the property rental side of our business enabling you to rent your property with no worries, knowing that your guests are having an enjoyable and comfortable holiday in your lovely Spanish home. She speaks fluent English. Habla muy bien inglés.

Jenny: is English and she has lived in Cómpeta for seven years. Although Jennifer is not directly involved in property sales, she will be very important to you should you decide to make any renovations to your new property or if you buy a plot and let us build your dream home. She is secretary to Cele Fernández, the proprietor of “Cómpeta Properties” and the construction company “Construcciones y Servicios Celé Fernández” . Both Cele and Jennifer will offer you any help you may need in perfect english.

Our sales team

Sergio: Sergio has lived in Cómpeta all his life and is a mine of information about the area. He has been in property sales since the company began and prior to that worked with our construction company, and because of this has an indepth knowledge of the legal requirements in each area.. He enjoys showing clients around our many lovely properties and can be relied on to spare no effort to help you find your dream home. Sergio will advice you in every step of the purchase or sale of your house. He speaks perfect english.

Elizabeth: Lizzy, who is Irish, has lived in Cómpeta for 12 years and has worked in real estate for the past seven years. She knows from personal experience that everyone needs help and advice when purchasing in a foreign country and is more than happy to answer any questions you may have. She really enjoys showing clients the properties and sharing her enthusiasm for this lovely area. Like Sergio, Lizzy can advise you on the process of buying or selling your property.
